 Dr. Jesenko Vukotic received his MD from the University Medical School in Sarajevo, Bosnia/Herzegovina in 1985. Between 1985 and 1993 he finished a general pediatric residency at the Children’s Hospital in Sarajevo as well as a pediatric Hematology/Oncology fellowship. Upon relocation to the US, he finished a year of research fellowship at the Neonatology Department of Baylor University in Dallas, TX. From 1995 to 1997 Dr. Vukotic completed 2 years of residency training in pediatrics at the Backus Children’s Hospital in Savannah, GA. He then worked in private practice for 1½ years in Statesboro, GA before relocating to Woodstock in 1999. Dr. Vukotic is Board Certified in pediatrics and is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. He is married to Goga Vukotic, MD, an Internist who practices in Roswell. They have 2 boys.
