Welcome, Dr. Yates!

We are so pleased to announce to you the newest member of the Woodstock Pediatric Medicine team.  Ferdinand D. Yates, M.D., MA  will be joining our practice effective May 31, 2016 after an extensive, successful career in New York.  Are those initials important?  We think they are!  After graduating from the University of Virginia for his Doctorate of Medicine, Dr. Yates continued his education at the Trinity International University to receive a Masters of Arts in Bioethics and continues to be a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.

Dr. Yates has held several successful positions during his career such as Medical Director, Professor of Clinical Pediatrics, Adjunct Professor of Bioethics and has served in his church and his community by participating in mission trips to such places like Russia and Haiti and has even helped build houses for Habitat for Humanity.  Dr. Yates has published several articles, has been an educational speaker, while still finding time for a round of golf.

But we know that his most important position is yet to come…….as your pediatrician!

Dr. Yates will be caring for children on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays, as well as for our Sick Clinic on Saturday mornings.

Dr. Yates is Board Certified with the American Board of Pediatrics and will be accepting all insurances, including Medicaid, Amerigroup, Welllcare and Peach State.
